Hello everyone and especially members of the Three Counties Support Group.
As you are aware the MSA Trust have suspended support groups for the time being which is very necessary but a shame. We can still keep in touch through this Forum where we have so many people who all share similar concerns.
At our last meeting Paul & Sue outlined their issues when Sue presented at A&E. Paul recounted how it would have been so much easier if he had available a completed RESPECT form. This Recommended Summary Plan for Emergency Care and Treatment (in the UK) is now more necessary than ever. We now carry Jackie's form with us wherever we go. For those that haven't completed a form yet (with professional help); there's more information here resus.org.uk/respect/
Stay safe, take care Ian

Thanks for highlighting this Ian, and Paul and Sue. In our case the DNACPR was sufficient for the correct help, but it is limited and this looks much more comprehensive for a wider range of situations.
Best wishes everyone during this very difficult and unusual time.
Hi Ian and Jackie, Thank you so much for putting out this Respect information. It needs a good read. Being a novice I have to find out how/ where to read the form before downloading. It should be useful for everyone not just MSA people. B
Hello B, It’s good to hear from you and thanks for your comments. One can download the form from the same place as the information is shown. However, you need a professional person health/welfare to complete the form with you and no doubt they would have supplies.
Jackie completed hers at our local hospice in Worcestershire, UK with the palliative care consultant who is very good.
My husband had Neuro X programme about 4 months ago. he sleeps soundly, works out frequently, and is now very active. It doesn’t make the MSA go away but it did give him better quality of life. we got the treatment from naturalherbscentre. com
