My partner with MSA has experienced a very sensitive nose all his life - seeing anything prickly like a cactus or pointy made his nose feel odd. I know this sounds ridiculous but we think this might have something to do with his MSA. He has also had a lot of work done on his teeth as a result of a misspent youth and broken jaw (twice). With all the research about the alleged link between gingivitis and Alzheimer’s does anyone think there might be a link with dental work/sensitive nose and MSA?

In MSA medication doctors usually prescride for steroids ,which usually brings down the body resistance to fight influenza . Kindly talk to your doctors about the medications. Also be carefully while administring liquid oral mouth wash , as they are accidentally consumed by the patient or can enter the lungs without the knowledge of the patient. Do the needful for it.
