Normal council slow. I have just had a reply about accessible routes thru the village I only complained last June! As for ramp they assesses me when I was still workin and said I was responsible for first 50k of work now I've been pensioned off and got no money I've asked them to re-assess still waiting! Good luck I hope they pull their finger out!

George, if I may call you that, I applied to council for ramp, they said I had to get assessment from local social services they're OT should visit you......they told me I wasn't covered by the critearia for ramp because I wasn't using wheelchair indoors......I then sent email to council explaining I phi was disabled and a military veteran, I was visited by the council officer responsible for Armed Forces and Military Veterans, after a long process I am house bound this week while the ramp is being laid down.

I have had a visit from council or they are supporting me but apparently its gone to financial board it's down to money now I have told them I am housebound unless someone comes for me . The matron that visit me has written to them this week it's all waiting and I am not a patient lady. Hope you're ok today.

My dad had a hospital bed which was appreciated but unfortunately it came late on. My dad's mobility had seriously decreased at that point and he was being hoisted in and out of the bed for a few hours each day. The care team came together a bit late too. Great when they finally realised what help/support was needed but came a bit to late in the day. Big hugs for you all going through MSA & family & carers xxx

Thanks for reply I can still walk a little I feel I don't need this bed not had a night sleep in it yet 😞. I asked my matron that comes why I have got she said it's normal we like to bring things in to make things easier for you and your carers !.

The bed will prove a godsend. Use it to its full. If you have an airflow mattress it should be checked regularly by nurses. Ours wasn't !! But didn't know.

Hi no it's just a mattress it's uncomfortable compared with what I had it makes dreadful noise when I breathe never mind move. My matron came last week and looked at it she said it was fine so I will have to lay in it!!!😖
