Forgot to say ……

I forgot to update on here that the lesion I had removed from my arm last month was benign! The dermatologist thought it was a squamous cell but it just looked like one. So that’s a relief.

It came up very quickly after starting hydroxy so I’ve got to keep alook out for any more forming.

The scar is healing well, although Ihave two “corners” that stick up a bit at each end where the gap in the skin has been pulled together. I’d rather have that than a skin cancer though.

Anyway today the sun is shining and the birds are singing so that is making me smile.

Thank you, we’re dog sitting at our sons in beautiful Dorset while they’re away. So we’re covered in a variety of colours of dog hairs not just our usual ones, good job I don’t wear anything white!

Good news. Best to be safe than sorry when it comes to these skin anomalies.

The weather here is nice today too. About to change though. Down to 19f tonight. 🥶

Do you now have regular derm appointments? I have once/year while on Rux, but he says to call if anything of worry shows up.

No, the dermatologist just said to contact them if I was worried about anything that appeared on my skin.

My derm recommended I come for a check at 9-12 months, I go every 6, his recommendations based on my skin and others may need different periods between checks
