do i need to get to guys before apt time for bloods.

Hi I’m being seen at Guys again after a long gap. I have an appointment for 10.45. Does anyone who's been seen at Guts recently know if I should get there earlier for bloods to be taken?

Hi. My experience is you turn up at your appointment time and they call you for bloods pretty quickly. Then there’s usually a wait to see the team. Hope you have a productive visit.

I usually go an hour earlier for bloods in order for them to be ready for my appointment slot 😊

I go about quarter an hour before appointment time. Bloods taken and blood pressure. All very efficient..Hope you Have a productive appointment

No, they did mine when I arrived at the appointment time.

Last week, I was early and they took my bloods on time but I still had to wait beyond my waiting time for my appointment with the consultant. The time before I was also early and waited an hour + to be seen by the consultant.

At Guys the appointment time incorporates the blood tests. I always arrive at the alloted time and after blood test wait for the consultant. It is very efficient and works very well. I love that they use mychart too so get my results and next appointment on the app quicky. I hope that it goes well for you, Guys are amazing.

I think it says on my letter to arrive 45mins early so that your bloods can be done. Yes they do get done quickly but time must be allowed for results to be uploaded. I’ve actually gone in for my appointment and waited for the results to come up on the computer.
