Hello, I drink-eat Kefir and Kombutcha. It works for me so if your doctor think it is a good idea, go for it! (in fact, my husband make the Kefir and I do the Kombutcha)

Unfortunately, HU can cause Thrush. It happened to me too. It is certainly worth trying an probiotic designed for use for oral issues; however, I would suggest consulting with a medical provider who is familiar with the use of this kind of complementary health. I consult with an Integrative Medicine doctor for this reason. You may be able to find an Integrative Oncology unit at one of your hospitals. Other providers include Functional medicine doctors, pharmacists, and possibly a dentist.

While probiotics are generally safe to use, there is wide variability in the quality of these products. Expert input is well worth the effort to obtain.

I am also on Hydroxycarbamide but persistent and frequent stools (often unbidden and unexpected) had dominated my life for many years. A recent regime has cured this and my life has been transformed by probiotics, digestive enzymes and selenium reduction.

Which element is the most important? - I suspect it is the high strength vegan probiotics I buy from Amazon (other retailers are available!) Weightworld Bio Cultures Complex Probiotics & Prebiotics - 60 Billion CFU . although I will continue the other two elements (just in case) The enzymes come on prescription but about 31p per day for the it is not onerous and

Repopulating your digestive system with these probiotics makes sense and chimes with much comment and news that surrounds us nowadays.

Hi, I have taken Diflucan over the years many times! Recently i broke out in a rash from one pill (150 mg), and i let it pass my Pharmacist told me that's a very normal side effect! Two weeks later i tried again and the rash appeared again with bumps this time! I was then told i am allergic to it. I was already taking probiotics for yeast, the main ingredient was D-Mannose so i researched and found a new supplement amazon.com/dp/B0B98XHZGJ?re.... So far so good, I started with one capsule then moved to 2 seems better now! There are many other varieties if you want to check first. Good luck to you !!

I realize nothing in this case seems to work forever but maybe this time it will help! I get dehydrated as well very easily living in Gilbert, Arizona, so i associated the Yeast to that , as my GP did as well. We finally have cool mornings but it was 81 yesterday and the heat here this year has been horrible !

I drink plenty of water… and sometimes add Dioralyte sachets 1 to a glass . Its excellent in situations where you can be dehydrated . Wishing you well

Morning, I've been on Hydroxy for over 10years (ET and JAK+). Luckily no side effects but do take supplements to boost my immune system zinc,B12 and a supplement for hair loss. Recently I've started to have Kefir yoghurt. I dont mind the taste but you can mix it with fruit honey etc. There are so many probiotics on the market, promising the world, but I've chosen a straightforward version. I keep saying I will buy the culture and make my own! Try it and see.. You could also consult a medial professional, pharmacists are great. Take care

hi hydranga,

what a pain. 2 options for u.

i use biocare ltd - a highly regarded supplement company that offer free phone expert consultations to get you to the right thing for you.

secondly - if bad i was perscribed a body wash which did the trick. Nizoral shampoo 2% although for hair it worked as a body shampoo. discus with gp.

hope that helps

sarah
