Pegasys update

Just had 3 monthly telephone call with consultant. I tested positive for Covid two days ago, she recommended I take the anti viral. My bloods all stable. She then said oh you will need your pegysys. I said yes thinking i would have to change due to shortage. Hospital pharmacy are delivering it tomorrow.

Good news re Pegysus. Hope you don’t feel too rotten with Covid and the antivirals kick in quickly

Yep feel pretty awful, so hopefully as you say anti viral will kick in

That's good news about Pegasys. Would you be able to share with me which part of the UK you live in so that I can pass on the information to the haematology department in the London hospital that I attend.?

that’s brilliant re Peg . I had Covid & this time it gave me vertigo symptoms. 3 times I have had it & each time different symptoms. Hopefully you recover quickly from it .👌

As the consultant said Covid is strange. First time I've had it and she recommended taking the anti viral which I didn't want to, as just has more symptoms. Thank you. Hope you get sorted
