Like many, I’ve had problems getting my usual weekly 90mcg dose but after a period of nearly 3 weeks, I took another dose at the weekend and I went into full-on flu mode for 48 hours; shivers, night sweats, high temperature, aches and pains etc.
Just interested to hear if anyone else has experienced this following a similar delay/break? After 6 years on INF it’s not something I was expecting particularly after only a 3 week break.
Thanks
Pete

Hi sorry for experiencing difficult side effects, but then you know that this could happen at any time with Interon Peg. I been on Peg for 10 years and in the past I did get quite same side effects when I was on 135mc every three weeks. For me could last for few days, then. Now I am on 45mc every four weeks and sometimes I get some side effects such as pain in my whole body , muscles, bones, joint, a day, but it is not as bad as it was. Wishing you well.
Interesting. I was forced to take a two month break (was on bi-weekly 90mcg) due to the shortage. Also after my first injection once I was able to get the medicine, I too experienced severe fatigue and general malaise - had no problems prior (not since first starting almost two years ago). Good news is that for the second injection did not experience any side effects and it seems things got back to normal.
