hi there, I’ve just read about the bispecific monoclonal antibodies JNJ-88549968 which are currently in a phase 1 trial. The (pre-clinical) paper sounds very exciting as this might be a potentially curative drug for CALR+ patients. However, I cannot find any information on experiences from the clinical trial. If X/Twitter can be believed, the drug was today administered for the first time here in Europe, so I guess I’m looking for experiences from US patients. Anyone here taking part in the respective trial?

Potential Cure for CALR+ patients? Any clinical information on JNJ-88549968?
The second-phase clinical trial (NCT06150157) for this is just being started, but I have not seen results reported for their first-phase studies. A group at Incyte also has a phase-1 clinical trial on a monoclonal antibody targeting mutant CALR (INCA033989). Early results leading to the clinical trial were reported [E. Reis et al, 64th ASH Ann. Mtg. & Expo, Dec. 11, 2022].
my hematologist is working on this here in TX. I know they are enrolling people in phase one trials currently. My doc seems optimistic. ☝🏽
🤞🏽Fingers crossed this thing is a success. It will be helpful to so many. I know it would be a blessing for all of us on here with CALR. 🙏🏽
That’s my understanding. If you hear about any results from your practitioner I would be grateful if you could share it here. Thanks!
Maybe first results are posted at ASH 2024 in December.
