Experiences using the scanwatch please.

Months after applying I finally received a scanwatch. A previous email had said someone would call to assist with set up. So far I have not received any call so did the best I could to set up myself. However when turning the button on the side of the watch I don't get the menus that are shown in the tutorial. The only action that appears is workout. I am finding that the only way I can choose any other action is via the Withings app rather than via just the watch itself. I tried a factory reset but it made no difference. Is anyone else having this issue. Am I doing something wrong or is the watch faulty. Can anyone offer any advice on how to get the best out of this watch. Also how do I turn on tracking. I saw the option once on the app but now can't for the life of me find it again. I'm getting rather frustrated with the damn thing and feel like giving up.

Carol.

Sorry that I do not know that particular piece of hardware. I use a Samsung Gear watch as well as a Kardia device. They both work quite well and are a valuable asset to my healthcare. Suggest you persist in accessing technical support to get things setup. Once you succeed, you can be an asset to others on the forum trying to use the same device.

Hi Carol, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your watch. I had a problem inputting my results, as I was unable to select from the multiple choice answers, but this was sorted out via Sanius Healthcare. I would recommend that you email Georgina from Sanius Healthcare on georgina.oneill@sanius-health.intercom-mail.com. Georgina and her team are very helpful and happy to get someone to call and explain things, if necessary.FYI I turn the little round dial towards me to scroll down on the watch face and then select an item by pushing the dial in. If you make a mistake you have the option to press back up to get you back to the main menu. It does take a little getting used to but I am enjoying wearing mine.

I hope you get your problems solved.

Best regards,

Lisa

Georgina is so helpful I agree! Also on the bottom left of the Mon voice app there is a chat facility where you can ask anything. Response time usually quite quick. Good luck. It's a great app and watch once set up, really helps me and will be helping others too :-)

Hi, I received my watch about a month ago. Set up was smooth and everything is working. I suggest you call the helpline to discuss as the watch might be faulty. Check though if you have set up everything correctly in the app and that you have added the watch as a new device so it can start synchronizing.

As Gaithersburg says, you can email Georgina, or you could just email support@saniushealth.com and ask someone to phone you. Good luck.

Hi,Carol, ignore my ignorance but whats a scanwatch? Is it similar to the Apple watch which registers all your vital sats, ie, heart rate, blood oxygen levels and the like.

It's a free watch that can measure various things, Heart rate, Oxygen levels, ECG, BP. It's provided by Sanius health to help research into rare conditions and used with the Withings App. I found a link to apply on one of the Facebook groups but I expect there is a link on MPN Voice. It does involve a lot of questions on the online form. Definitely worth applying for although I do wonder how accurate the readings are.Maybe someone else can chip in with more information.
