I started Rux about 5 weeks ago. No side effects other than INR has been really strange. I’m on warfarin and increased dose by 1mg but still below target range. I was expecting it to go the opposite way - thought Rux would make me less likely to clot?
Is there anyone else on warfarin who has experienced changes in INR when starting Ruxolitinib
Thanks

Hi, I don't know if I can answer your question correctly ,as I don't have a great deal of medical knowledge but I can give you my experience . I am also in the UK and on warfarin for the last 5 years following blood clots on the lungs and in my leg. I am Jak 2 positive and also on hydro....I take 5 mg for 4 days and 4 mg for 3 of the warfarin. My blood target is between 2 - 3. I have a blood test every 8 weeks or sooner if needed and other more comprehensive blood tests once every three months.
I am stable on the warfarin, no problems . I have not needed a venesection since I started on it .
Keeping platelets down is more difficult.
I live in the South East of the UK.
That is my experience. I was told warfarin is the best drug of choice for my condition.
