I'm about to take semi-retirement and as a result my income won't be the same.
I just wondered if people diagnosed with MPN's are entitled to any free medical check-ups such as eye tests or check-up at the dentist?

Hi I get free eye tests but no free dental I’m 69 I applied for attendance allowance but got refused
My friend has just been granted the lower attendance allowance, they had help from Age Concern to fill the form in, they were told afterwards if they’d said they went to the toilet more during the night they’d have got more! They got it because the husband is losing his sight. If you look online you’ll find what you need to have wrong with you and need assistance with to get it. Main thing is needing assistance with general living and mobility.
Over 60 we get free eye tests, but have to pay dental costs, unless you get certain benefits - not sure which.
Get the HC2 form and fill it out, they will tell you if you are allowed it. It is income based so it well worth filling it in. Go on line and it will tell you what proof you need to send. Good luck.
