Good news!

A quick update on my jak2 alle burden. It has dropped from 79% to 40% only within 4 month! Does that mean I do great on besremi? I have tet2 though.

That’s fantastic news. Any reduction in a rogue clone has to be a good thing, but 50% in four months, great response!

Yes, I am quite encouraged :)

Congratulation Ben! You might be a super responder to the medication.

Pound that allele burden into the ground!🥳🥂🍾

How have you been feeling on your treatment?

Thank you MAP44! For me the side effects of Besremi are not obvious. I feel good and no obvious symptoms. The only problem is that my WBC, HCT and PLT are all slightly lower, while ferritin is a little higher. Will keep monitoring that.

That's wonderful news! I have a very high allele burden(94%) as of March, and now on Besremi for almost 3 months. I am looking forward to finding out if there has been a reduction. How are your side effects? Any, at all? Hope you continue to do extremely well!

Thank you! I don't have any obvious side effects but my WBC, HCT and PLT are getting lower while the ferritin is getting higher.

Ben! What great news! Encouraging for me since I too am Jak & Tet2 positive. I appreciate you sharing as I am in the first 9 months of Besremi. May I ask how long you have taken and dosage? I have been kept at 150 mcg and MD stated wouldn’t check again for a few years. What a great feat for you! Are you feeling better?

Thank you DiveGoddess! Yes we are all Jak2&Tet2 positive. I have been kept on 500mcg every other week for almost 4 months. Before I get dizzy sometimes but now is much better. MD suggested check AB(only jak2) in 6 months. Did you also check Tet2? Will it get down like jak2?
