Detox update

Glad I've done the detox but platelets up from 540 to 660. I know they can vary but been getting lower consistently.So I'll start Hydroxycarbamide again tommorow.

Had no thoughts about what results would be so not upset ...

Sounds like a predictable outcome with discontinuing the cytoreduction. Glad you anticipated it. Hope your liver is happier now!

where are you taking medication at the time of your detox? Detox can wipe out our medication. I’m on Anagrelide and when I did detox, it also detoxed it. I sent a detox 3 to 4 hours after taking the medication, and there was no problem because the Meds had already worked.

no I stopped taking Hydroxicarbamide . Wanted to get it out of my system for a while..

what sort of detox did you do?

Wonder what you meant. ‘Sent a detox 3 to 4. Hrs …..?

Perhaps I’ll continue with a gap . ToxaPrevent say 2 hrs is long enough ..

typo. I’d wait 3+ hours after taking Anagrelide in order to do the detox. At that point anagrelide had already done its job and was on its way out of my system. Then I’d wait a few hours to take the next pill. Do you really have to do the HU if you’re only at 600? Many do just aspirin. I always keep my thrombocytes at about 700 or less because the damage that an acolyte does to my body. I started Besrrmi a little while ago. Have reduced anagrelide until Besremi really kicks in.

I waited till platelets were over 1000 before very reluctantly starting hydroxicarbamide.. take low dose every other day. Good results quickly.

But I can see stopping meds will soon take count to high again..

So ..........

I like to take action before to much of a problem develops . Started to be a bit constipated the break has been just over a month ... last blood test before yesterday was 4 months

I'm taking hydroxicarbamide 500 every other day.

it was the idea of my new doctor. After 5 months on Besremi, My thrombocytes finally showed a drop from 873 to 729 today. My dream is to get completely off the Anagrelide by summer. B takes longer to start working in many cases. 🙂 hopefully, the price will start becoming more affordable so that many more can take it.

my detox was a combination of many things. Extremely bitter herbs, activated coal capsules, humid acid, homeopathy, sunflower lecithin. I did this every day for a month.

Hydroxy is my wonder drug. I was given it straightaway by my haematologist and only had to have 2 venosections. Only drawback is it has thinned my bones until I have now been diagnosed with osteoporosis. I have an infusion once a month so hopefully that will slow down the bone loss. I was diagnosed in 2015 and my bloods have remained sonstant ever since.
