Hi. Has anyone heard whether there is likely to be another Covid booster? I had my last in mid September.

Happy New Year! We were just discussing this at home. I could not find any information anywhere about another vaccine even though the last one was over 3 months ago.

Hello Rachel - yes I’ve been wondering too + can’t find anything - I should have a medication review due at some point in January, so was going to push for another booster then (or find out if I could go to a walk-in centre again) - hope you are doing ok - Anne-Marie x

yes: had the bivalent moderna as soon as it cane out. But have heard no more. Nor, it seems has anyone else.

I had my 6th injection (3rd booster I think that is 🤔) in November. The previous one was in April.

You’re absolutely right. Everyone is entitled to their opinion as to whether or not to be vaccinated. However, it’s also really important to guard against amplifying inaccurate and misleading claims put out by a vociferous ‘anti-vaxx’ lobby. And unfortunately the ‘eight mice’ claim is one of them.

It simply doesn’t understand (and manipulates for its own ends) the established processes for testing and approving medicines used to treat variants of diseases that have already gone through rigorous approval procedures - like the annual flu vaccine. There are a plethora of articles from respected medical bodies from various continents debunking the ‘eight mice’ claims and putting the arguments in a solid scientific context. A quick Google will give a good idea of what’s going on.

I had my 6th injection last September and I believe I read somewhere that another wouldn't follow for another 6 months. However, that was in the papers and not from any of the professional bodies.
