I talked to the health food store owner and she recommended a combination of these. I have been taking them all in various combinations. They are working.
Nettle Tea, Allergy drops with Nettle and Querciten pills were in the original photo but it was replaced with the powdered Beta Alanine.
No I did not call my doctor or specialist for their approval.
I found this article after my visit to the health store. I am also happy to say this clinic is in Calgary, Canada and so am I. I might make an appointment.
Quercetin, Allergy Ease and Allergy Relief
——-UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2023—————
Hi again,
I used the Querciten for over 1 year and the nettle and allergy drops for the first month only.
In August 2023 I went on a 3 week holiday and was worried about what might happen. I decided to try Beta Alanine powder in my water bottle throughout the day instead of hauling around extra pills.
I ONLY use the beta alanine now, no more other pills. I use 1/2 of the scoop provided, maybe the equivalent of 1/2 a teaspoon twice a day. The more you take the longer it lasts but it gives you a funny feeling in your body, so I take less over a longer period with no issues.
Honestly no itch, showering no problem, sleep no problem.
Photo of the kind I found at my local supplement / body building store. No sugar, no flavor.
Best of luck! Hope this works for you too. 🙂🫶🏼✌🏻🎉

Thanks for posting this. My partner and I both got Covid this week and one of the supplements she wanted him to get was the Quercitin. He ended up not ordering it. Then I tested positive after him but forgot all about it. I’ll have to take another look.
Hi, I have PV and routinely take 15 mgs of Ruxolitinib twice per day. I have found that Rux is very good at reducing or eliminating pruritus. It is usually referred to as an itch but I have found that it is very painful ..... stinging, pricking and burning like being stung by a swarm of bees. And the pain can last for ages once it kicks off. When I'm affected by it, it is so painful that I can't bear to bath or shower. So my heart goes out to you if you are suffering this way. It is really horrible and there should be a much more accurate name for it 'cos calling it an itch doesn't remotely come close to describing something that causes so much pain and that can affect the quality of a person's life so much.
I experience with pruritus has changed over the years. Years before being diagnosed my legs would turn purple and blue in the shower. Afterward I would experience and slow itch up my legs starting at my ankles. Scratching did not touch it as it was deep under the skin in the nerves. Massage, scratching sometimes dulled the feeling. Now that I have being diagnosed with PV it still starts as an itch in the ankles and accelerates quickly to the most uncomfortable feeling and irritation.
The article talks about the red blood cell size as part of the problem. I am pretty sure other things are triggering it also. I am watching my friends place and she has dogs and cats and my histamine is high and they make it unbearable and I have never had an allergic reaction to an animal before.
Looking for some ideas on tweaking my lifestyle. I do not want to go off the Pegasys.
Do you only take Rux? What about your bloodwork, does it keep it in check for you? Do you get a phlebotomy ??
