I’ve been on Anagrelide for a few years, I get occasional palpitations, my main problem is I am now very anaemic, having an iron infusion in the near future, otherwise ok.

My wife has MF and been on Anagrelide and Hydroxycarbamide since August 2018. She was on 3 Anagrelide a day and 1 hydroxycarbamide eod. A few months ago went onto 4 Anagrelide a day for a while but had a major upper Gastrointestinal bleed after a month of 4 a day. She's now back on 3 a day and three hydroxycarbamide a week. And touch wood has no problems.

I haven't had any problems with Anagrelide- just found out today that my platelets have risen so will have to go back to twice a day and aspirin-I am also anaemic and having investigations for that .

What else do you want to know ?

I suffer from really bad palpitations, and Anagrelide can make this worse. Haemo is going to speak to cardiology.
