With platelets being in normal range for a while there checking me for bone marrow transformation to myelofibrosis.
I hope this is ruled out, will also have ultrasound,repeat JAK 2.
A few weeks ago my consultant said its rare for my platelets to stay at this level with ET
Interferon was stopped over a year because platelets went low.
That plan makes sense. I do believe you previously noted that some scarring was seen in the marrow on your last BMB. Hopefully the news will be good when you complete this round of testing.

Bloods stable,
Bone marrow early stage of myeloproliferative neoplasm.
So at present stopped interferon, just taking Asprin.
Were the results early stage MF or MPN?
Increased Platelets
How quickly do platelets climb in ET?
High platelets
Rising platelets
lowered platelets
