Had blood drawn for tests at Guy's Cancer Centre, the first blood tests since my probable diagnosis. I'm on strong antibiotics for another issue, so hope that won't mess up the results (my GP and my dentist both said it shouldn't). Goodness, she was a skilful vampire - I barely felt the needle go in and she extracted all the blood she wanted with no issues at all! There isn't even a bruise, and as I'm on anticoagulants, I do bruise easily. Very impressed, and I told her so!

Now I have to wait a week until my phone consultation next Tuesday morning.

Have to love those skilled vampires! Their skill makes a big difference. So does using a 23G Butterfly Needle. Smaller needles do not hurt as much. Go figure!

Hope you get good news on the blood tests.
