Experience with Pegasys or Besremi with Hypothyroidism, vitiligo, Alopecia.

Hi, Do any of you have autoimmune diseases and take Pegasys or Besremi? If so, how have you done?

It's a known fact that Pegasys can exacerbate autoimmune diseases. I was on it for 2.5 years and although I don't really have any autoimmune disease it pushed me in the direction of Celiac disease. I found I could no longer eat gluten. Dairy protein was also a problem. I'm now on Besremi and it doesn't seem to do the same thing. I'm doing much better on it.

I've had mild psoriasis. It shows mostly back of the knees. I have been curious how Bes would affect it.

It got a bit redder as I started Bes, but not beyond its normal variation and the usual retail cortisone fixed it. As I increase dose I will keep track.
