Happy Easter to everyone,
I have been offered my 5th Covid vaccine for this week.
(I am PVR Jak 2 )
My 4th vaccine was 3 months ago.
Has anyone else had their 5th vaccine only 3 months after their 4th vaccine?
Many thanks,
Bobbie

Yes that's the standard for blood cancers, it's six months for general population but higher risk can have after three months.
Hi, yes, I live in South Wales and have just received a letter with an appointment for my 5th next week. Had my 4th in January.
I had to push my surgery for mine at 3 monthsBut I get it this week, 14 weeks after the 4th
I haven’t been invited yet but have booked mine for next Wednesday, just over 3 months since my 4th one
Thankyou All the best with your vaccine
Just had my 5th dose / 2nd booster. Having booked online I got a call this morning from a helpful chap at the hospital to reconfirm the reasons for my eligibility for this booster. It was reassuring to know they were checking and meant I was in and out in 15 minutes at the clinic - next one due in the autumn if I understand correctly..!
Is it the vax effect to your blood count...?
I had my 5th on Saturday. 3 months after my last one. No problems just a slightly tender arm. X
Yes I had mine after 3 months after my 4th last month without any problems x
My husband (PV JAK2+ & other things going on too) had his 2nd booster (5th jab) booked for the beginning of the month. He had an appointment at Guys that week and was told he would be better to wait until later in the year to get another full dose as it would have more effect. So quite confused now really.
I am also a patient at Guys and was told something similar. However, when this vaccine appointment was offered locally,(in the same venue as my 4th)I have decided to get on and take it.
It is your choice and with 4 vaccines, perhaps you are fairly well covered now ,so maybe don’t worry too much for the moment.
I suspect that Guys are very busy ,and with the NHS staffing problems with Covid sickness etc, they are perhaps reluctant to organise this 5th vaccine at the moment ,for their huge volume of people as before.
Take care ,
Best wishes,
I tried to get the Spring booster (5th) but was told by two walk in centres that they aren’t doing the 5th vaccine and indeed they have never heard of it. My 4th was on 4th January and I have all the paperwork for that. My GP says it’s nothing to do with them! I find it all such a negative, stressful experience so if I had been called I would feel reassured getting it. Good luck.
Thankyou,I’m fortunate with my excellent GP.I do hope you get your vaccine sorted soon,
Take care
Bobbie
HiI had my 4th in January and my 5th last weekend. I did not receive any notification or letter re either one. For my 4th, I couldn’t get an appointment and went around in a loop with my surgery saying it was nothing to do with them and the booking service telling me to contact my GP. I went along to the vaccination centre with all of my PV evidence. For my 5th I managed to book an appointment at the same centre.
As many people on here seem to have been notified to attend, I wonder if I should be on some list and if so does anyone know who or where I should contact.
Thank you
Morning Bobadog your post is certainly very helpful and served to remind me to book my 5th.Thank you.

Hello just booked my 5th dose. I haven’t received any letter but I have booked for a walk in centre and will take an old letter. Hopefully they will still do it. I am PV Jak 2 positive as well and had my 4th in January. Best wishes
I've not received an invite for the 5th jab now just over 3 months since my last one but will need to wait another 3 weeks as just had covid - been clear for a wk now.
Hello I'm merlisa from China, I have never had any vaccine for Covid, will any responds on the vaccines? Could you share your experiences?
I've read that China is more than 80% vaccinated, so there should be many of your friends that have done it that you can ask. But rates are low for elderly.
It is good to get the vaccine.
The vaccines available to you are different than for most who post here, so our side effects and results etc are likely to be different from what you may experience.
Morning I had 3 months between my 3rd and 4th and they said I could have a 5th 3 month latter .If this helps you .
Many thanks
