Just wondering if anyone with myleofibrosis experiences leg pain

I have PV but experience leg pain and other bone pain, like in the back of my ribs. It's not an enlarged spleen. I had that but Jakafi took care of it. I'm now on Besremi.

Hi Stripecat,I have ET have had it since I was 18 years old am now 47. I do suffer with leg pain and it is always the same leg deep within my bone. I just try to take paracetamol but it is a nagging deep ache.

How long does this pain usually last And how often do you get it?

It lasts for a few days I would say and comes back regularity I would say once or twice a month

Stripecat, yes my wife has myelofibrosis and experienced leg pain first. Strong pain killers at first controlled it then cold packs were added when the pain level exceeded the pharmaceuticals. They too were inadequate because the pain was from the bones. Low dose radiation successfully eliminated the leg bone pain. The same pain was treated with low dose radiation in her arms, hips, ribs and shoulders. There is no guarantee the pain will not return. It's been over a year and there has been no recurrence.
