I posted this in a reply today, but here is more info. I don't think it's authorized yet in UK even as it is a UK Co. But maybe UK members can clarify.

<<Evusheld received Emergency Use Authorisation (EUA) in the US in December 2021 for the pre-exposure prophylaxis (prevention) of COVID-19 in people with moderate to severe immune compromise due to a medical condition or immunosuppressive medications>>
Anyone on Rux should have good odds to qualify I would expect.
<<Only antibody authorised in the US for pre-exposure prophylaxis of COVID-19>>
<<Evusheld is one of only two antibody therapies authorised for use that showed neutralising activity against Omicron>>
<<The half-life extension more than triples the durability of its action compared to conventional antibodies and could afford up to 12 months of protection from COVID-19 following a single administration>>
It's possible that 12 months prediction could be less for Omicron. But the vaxes are looking like they need regular boosts just the same. If I were to follow my Dr's suggestion to start Rux I would ask about this new agent.
