TPD - The continuing saga

On BBC Radio 4 this morning. Nick Robinson interviewed the Minister for Health, Edward Argar on the Today Programme, about the problems with the Booster vaccine rollout. If you can access BBC Sounds, you can hear what he has to say about the Third Primary Dose at 8.13, unless he was reading from the wrong briefing sheet , he clearly says that it is the Hospitals that are responsible for arranging the vaccine for eligible patients.

I was told I had ET in early 2010 and have been an out patient since then. In that time I must have swallowed thousands of Hydrea capsules. I know some medics dismiss MPN's but if I'm deemed not eligible who is ?

I shall be emailing my consultant quoting Mr.Argar and asking when I can look forward to receiving my invitation for the Third Primary Dose!

If like me you have not been contacted by anyone, perhaps you should do the same.

Best of luck

David

Clearly, he hasn’t done his homework and read the updated JCVI recommendation to the NHS. If he had, he would have noted that as well as hospital consultants being asked to identify their immunosuppressed patients; in parallel, GPs were also asked to identify patients on their registers?

I booked the booster, and since it was Pfizer, that counts for the third primary jab as well - or so I understand it.

Yes, I did too as according to Blood Cancer UK Pfizer IS the full dose. Booked it when I got letter from NHS.

Did anyone get a record card for having their 3rd/booster jab?
