There are a number of different kinds of pain we can experience with MPNs or from the drugs used to treat them. Erythromelalgia, bone pain, joint pain, paresthesia, arthralgia, and myalgia just to mention a few. You will find plenty of people who can find pain with walking.

Be sure to talk to a MPN Specialist about what you are experiencing.

I also suffer with bone and joint pain. Walking is painful but so is standing still. I have ET and have recently also been diagnosed as having Sponylosis in my lower back and arthritis in my right hip. Some days are better than others though and I try to make the most of the good days

Hi Shiela23. I also have pains in my legs (the front of my legs and top of my feet) and find it difficult walking. Standing for more than 5 minutes is not on..my knees just collapsed .. This is the first Ive heard that it could be because of our condition. I will mention it to my haematologist. I have arthritis all over and I just assumed that I was getting worse. Good luck x
