On bad days I am using cannabis. I don't like the oil but found some candy that works perfectly for me. Ceres Malt Balls, Sativa. You can get them in Indica or Sativa. The Indica knocks me out (but also gives me the munchies more). The Sativa works for me. If I am in extreme pain I will smoke a puff because it instantly gives relief. I have a special pipe that you put ice in so the smoke doesn't hurt your throat. I know that smoking is not good for you but the chemical process they use to make the oil isn't good for you either. The CBD cream is awesome for a bad back.

I used CBD oil while my platelets were still high to help the aching bones. It did help me. I ran it past my Consultant before taking it and all he would say if it were him he wouldn't take it but only because it had not been tested properly by the body that approve these things. I did some research and found a reputable company with a huge following to buy mine from. I don't require it at the moment but would not hesitate to restart if I needed it as paracetamol did nothing for the aches and pains.

Yes, I am on 2x500 mgs of Hydroxycarbamide every day and had no adverse effects from taking CBD oil twice a day at the same time.

Hi, no problem at all. Just to let you know it does take a few weeks to build up in your system so don't be disappointed if you do not feel any change for a couple of weeks.

I don't take my CBD oil just now but only because my platelet levels are currently within normal range and I thought I'd stop taking it to see if I still needed to or if the aches and pains were only there when my counts were higher. I rarely have the awful aches I used to have, so all good with me just now thank you.

I do hope you find relief with it Angeltwin. Let us know if it works for you. X

I was on hydroxy (I’m now on interferon) and taking cbd oil. It helped me with bone pain and nausea. And my fatigue is less.

My consultant wouldn’t comment officially but said there are no contraindications (I.e. it’s fine to take).
