Good news! I actually use 2 hematologists. I have a wonderful local hematologist who is not a MPN expert. He handles my ongoing care. I have an excellent MPN Specialist with whom I consult. He consults with me and my on-going docs about my MPN care. Since the MPN Specialist is 2 hours way, seeing him ongoing is not practical. This arrangement worked well.
