Any IL-6 inhibitor or IL6 receptor inhibitor situation and Liver total protein issue

I would like to ask whether there are such patients with myelofibrosis. Even if they take Ruxolitinib, and take interferon at the same time. The total protein in the biochemistry of the liver continues to decline slowly. This decline is continuous and may be the trend of slow decline for several years. How do other countries solve this problem?

I have studied this disease a lot and read a lot of blood and related papers and literatures. I suspect it is caused by the imbalance of IL-6 cytokines. Cytokines are also a difficult problem to solve on this disease. Is there any IL-6 inhibitor or IL6 receptor inhibitor for myelofibrosis in the world now?

i search any medicines, i found several medicine related to IL-6, but their indications are not this disease. Some are related to rheumatism and immunity, and some are related to other solid tumors. I was thinking, if Ruxolitinib can treat GVHT after transplantation, why can't other drugs be used for myelofibrosis?

I don't have a suitable stem cell donor. I can only rely on conservative treatment for one year.

HiYou are more knowledgeable than I so I can only comment on how a responded to Ruxolitnib.

I am on 5mg twice daily and have had improved conditions all round. I am happy with the consultant and follow her advice and medication.

How's your blood now? Hemoglobin, leukocyte and platelet? How about your bone marrow smear and biopsy? How long did 5mg last twice a day? Have you checked the tests for various cytokines? Do you use interferon at the same time?🙂
