Well done and good luck. Has the Cancer Department got a special ialist haematology section? A long time ago, abroad, the haematologist I saw was in the cancer department and he had little experience of MPNS. We liased with Guys team and it all worked out. Have your questions ready.
I’m more interested in their advice on what I can take in addition to conventional meds, than specialist haematology . It’s the step towards me getting my head round knowing I can’t get platelets down naturally .
I’ve tried for 1and a half years . Hard to accept as I feel fine ........
Hi Mostew, , as a well known team leader of some repute used to say "I love it when a plan comes together" . . Pleased you feel you're making progress now you need the services of the A Team to set you on the right track. Good Luck with it.
I'm ticking along reasonably ok thanks Carolyn . Like most of us I have my ups downs and a degree of discomfort which means I cant climb trees any more but it doesn't stop me hugging them. What I'm trying to say is as a once very active guy I've just got to recognise and ACCEPT my limitations and try not to get too frustrated when I fall short of my expectations / goals. Take care
