conclusion: "This study demonstrates for the first time that resveratrol simultaneously inhibits platelet aggregation and stimulates platelet apoptosis. Stimulation of platelet apoptosis by resveratrol may represent the increased therapeutic potential for patients suffering from thrombotic conditions or thrombocytosis to promote platelet destruction and thus prevent pathological clotting. Furthermore, this study also provides a novel conception that rigorous surveillance of platelet numbers may be important during resveratrol treatment in the clinic."

I haven't read it all yet but it looks interesting.

Hi sorry that long link if it doesnt work its meant to be a company called Youth and Earth - don't rely on supermarkets and high street health stores mention no names for your suppls pls whatever you do - thank you for the tip, I shall check with my nutritionist that this is safe for me to take and see if she shares any insights as well - may try this thank you. I note that they do a compound supp which is the reverstrol with curcumin and also Quercetin which is to supprt mitochondria so that looks a goody for us peeps too - it is not cheap but they have 25% off atm so a good time to invest in our health.
