What causes pins and needles in legs at night is it et related

I get pins and needles in hands and feet. Sometimes waking me up at night. They were my first symptoms and that was why I went to my GP. Definitely less occurrence once diagnosed with ET and put on Aspirin and Hydroxy. Is it little blood clots in the tiny vessels? Would be interested to hear from others.

Paresthesia is the term for what you are describing. It is know to be associated with ET and other MPNs. There is info out there on it if you want to look. Here is one example.
