Interesting article. Sounds like the evidence for the use of the interferons to better manage PV is growing. Perhaps it will become clear whether interferon therapy really does delay disease progression.

Ropeginterferon is a kind of « Deluxe » Interferon version. Totally painless self-injectable. It should be available next year in the US.
