Usual disclaimer of check with your medical team first, I’m only on aspirin atm and got the go ahead for Botox from my consultant 2 weeks ago (although she did laugh a little at my request!).

Had a teeny tiny bit more bruising than usual, but I’m living my best wrinkle free life again 😂

Hi, can I ask did you have to stop your aspirin a few days before your Botox?

Hi grumpyfairy,

I didn’t stop my aspirin before Botox. I told the doctor doing my treatment that I was on aspirin.

The needle used is so thin and delicate that if I’d had any bleeding it would have just been a tiny dot.

I had very slight bruising (a couple of little spots), makeup covered easily and they faded within a couple of days.

Hi Sarah, thank you for your reply, very much appreciated. Going to give it a go. X

I will be asking mine at my next appointment as well. It may even be anti-inflammatory. Dont quote me on that yet though as I am still looking into it. :)

I get Botox in my elevens. Without it, I was starting to look angry. I've not had any problems.

I’ve not had Botox but I’ve had Juvederm injections and other than a bit more bruising than I’d have liked in some spots (it went away of course), there were only good results. It’s the blood thinners I’m on, more than the hydroxyurea, that would be the bruising cause.
