Good afternoon Maz,

I'm still shielding (live northern ireland), my question is my elderly father in law is just home from hospital (chest infection, uti etc), is it advisable or unadvisable for my husband to visit him and stay with him few hours??? Also hubby volunteers couple days in charity shop (due to open this week), is it advisable for him to frequent either place when I'm not allowed in shops etc yet?? Northern ireland has different guidelines to rest of UK so what would your advice be??? I would really appreciate if you could clear up these queries and look forward to hearing back from you.

Regards Phyllis xx

Hi Phyllis, I am sorry but I am afraid we are unable to advise you on this because of not knowing about your own medical details with regards to your MPN etc, you will need to ask your haematologist for advice on this. Best wishes, Maz
