All of us at MPN Voice hope that as the lockdown continues, you and your families are keeping well.
We would like to invite you to take part in the 2.6 Challenge and be a Home Hero!
What is the 2.6 Challenge?
The Coronavirus pandemic is a difficult time for charities. Events have been cancelled and the lockdown means that people cannot take part in fundraising activities and events.
In order to help people raise funds without leaving their homes, the 2.6 Challenge is happening on and around Sunday 26th April. This is the date that the 40th London Marathon would have taken place. The 2.6 Challenge has been organized by the people behind the biggest fundraising events in the country.
People all over the country will be taking part in this fundraising challenge, to support the charities close to their hearts, and we hope that you will take part to support people affected by MPNs.
What do you do to get involved?
The challenge will launch on Sunday 26th April, but you can do your activity whenever is convenient for you. You can complete a fundraising activity of your choice that’s based on the numbers 2.6 or 26. You could walk 2.6 miles, get 26 friends together online for a quiz, or do 26 cartwheels! There are so many possibilities and it’s completely up to you what you decide to do, the only requirement is that you must follow Government guidelines on exercise and social distancing. You can get more inspiration on the 2.6 Challenge website.
