Can I please ask all those who have faith to say a prayer for my mum’s nursing, home,Dalby Court, in Middlesbrough.
I found out yesterday when I phoned to check on my mum (really angry that they didn’t phone any family) that there has been 2 residents who have tested positive and 1 who has symptoms of COVID-19. The infected residents were on the ground floor whilst my mum is on the first floor.
My mum is 96 and I am a mess. The thought that I can’t be there to hold her hand right now is just killing me so, please can everyone just say a prayer for the residents of Dalby Court. Thank you xx

Praying for you and your Mum and all the residents and staff at Dalby Court. Really sympathise with you for the agony you must be going through. Love and Prayers, Fran xx
Oh Jilly I am so, so sorry to hear about your mums nursing home having Covid 19. My thoughts are with you and Pray to god that she will be safe from it.
I'm so sorry to hear about your mum, and how hard it is to not be able to be with her. I'll be praying for you, your mum and all the residents in the nursing home.
It is good that your mum is on a different floor from those infected. I am sure staff will be taking the right precautions. You must be feeling very sad that you can't get to see your mum. Stay well, Jilly and take comfort from the spring flowers.
We feel for you at this anxious time. Straightaway, we prayed for you & your mum. I’m sure many people will be turning to God during this time as we all feel so helpless. “Be still, & know that I am God” (psalm 46 v.10).
I think your prayers have been heard because there has been no further outbreaks. One of the infected patients has also recovered and is back at the home. So some good news on this lovely day. Thank you everyone
My mother-in-law is 94 and we can’t visit her either; we just call. Please let go and just leave it in Gods hands. I know what it’s like when a mom is very old. I remember what it was like in the last weeks of my mom’s life. I was a wreck, but happy. She was in Greece and I in Vienna with my husband and 6 yr old. I had already had 7 trips that year to make sure things were running smoothly. We prayed on the phone together every day and many friends prayed along. I have to add that it was the time that my ET started. Excessive Worry I’d not good. Please take care and you both are in my prayers. 😘 Anag
