Just wondering are we still at increased risk if just on aspirin no chemo? Am a mental health nurse and have to go to work

My nurse told me that I was at no increased risk as my bloods are fairly normal and not on medication. But not spoken to a doctor as yet

My son has ET and I asked the dr last week at his visit if he was at increased risk and she said no. I also asked if he was at increased risk should he get the virus and she said no. They are learning that the virus doesn’t do well with ibuprofen- that Tylenol is better. That is fine with us because he is on a low dose aspirin daily (and curcumin) so he can’t take ibuprofen. He is 18. Diagnosed 12/2019 (he was 17 at the time).
