Just thought I would share this view of Fountains Abbey, North Yorkshire, with you and hope it lifts your spirits as much as it did mine. Walking around the lake / river walk nearly did for me (!!) but it was worth the effort.

Thank you, John, for such a beautiful photo of Fountains Abbey. I love the first flush of colour on the weeping willow and its reflection in the water, it is such a cheery reminder of Spring and nature waking up after its winter rest. Good that you were able to enjoy it, even if walking became a struggle.
Best Wishes, (and thank you for your wonderful comment on my post),
Peter
Thanks John,

A beautiful picture. It made me smile and has encouraged me to go out for a walk along the beach and appreciate the morning 😊
Beautiful!! Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful photo John. I live in the Red Rose county. Some of my favourite places are in Yorkshire. We spend a lot of time there tootling around there in our camper van. We were actually talking last evening about maybe having a little break soon near Whitby but I think you have inspired me to revisit Fountains Abbey as it is too long since I have been there.
