Well I was at the hospital this morning for my four monthly blood tests and saw my lovely Haematologist who said that all my bloods were really good. Asked him loads of questions and he gave me some good answers, the only one he could not say anything about was when Bexit happens what will happen to my Hydroxycarbamide as it is Medac and comes from Germany the other one is Squibb and that comes from Ireland, just said we will have to wait and see, but is sure that these type of drugs will be safe well for a while anyway he thinks, let’s hope so.
Night night everyone.

Hi Jean, so good to hear a positive haem post after all the moaning I’ve been doing. Great your counts are good too. No doubt we will get all the Brexit answers before long. Kindest regards Aime xx😸😸
Oh Aime, you don’t moan it’s good to get things of your chest, and what better place than on our Forum. Let’s hope we do get some answers soon regarding what will happen with our type of drugs.
Glad to hear some good news. I am sure it gave you a real lift.
There seems to be so much scaremongering around Brexit and like others have said hopefully we will get some answers before long. However, trying to second guess what will happen does nothing for stress levels. My Consultant ensures that I have a few weeks surplus supply of hydroxy and I would hope that in the worst case scenario any supply problems are very short term.
Said to the Doc that my garage was big enough to stock pile the drug, he then said do not think that will be needed with a very strange smile on his face. 😉
