Definitely raise with your haematologist or GP. Certainly the team at Guy’s were very happy to investigate. (My levels were fine.) Others on this Forum mention having B12 injections. I believe if counts are low then the jabs can make a real difference to sense of well-being.
Hi...mine was 220 which is still technically above the threshold. Many docs won't do anything unless below 150 so I pressed my haematologist to consider it and he put me on injections. I was originally diagnosed with PV but as all tests came back negative this is now ET which is secondary polycythaemia.
Hi. I have E.T. I receive B12 very 3 months. It makes a real different for me. I know when I need it because I get very tiered. Once I get the injection within 3/4 day I feel much better. I have asked my doctor for folic acid 5mg now as it helps with bone ache/ arthritis.
