Need bone marrow biopsy

I had some blood work done consistently over 3 months which showed increasing white cell counts and consistent high level Platelets. Hematologist ordered blood smear and jak2 test. Smear results came back as:

WBC - Leukocytosis, absolute neutrophilia and monocytosis type. Reactivity Noted

PLTs - Thrombocytosis

Jak2 is negative

My Platelets are consistently 467-497

What does all of this mean?

Hi, you need to ask your haematologist to explain what these results mean for you. Best wishes, Maz
