What hospital do you attend what I am trying to do with help from my local Msp is to get them to get more clinical nurse specilaists MPN at clinics and educate gps how to deal with mpns so the more voices through our local Msps the better I got a letter from Shona Robison health secretary msp and it was a complete fob off so the more pressure put on her from the Msp on the question how many clinical nurse specialists was to look up a web site there is know pressure on you to help Aime but if you do that would be great same goes for anyone else in Scotland not just Edinburgh but other health boards
TRy your local msp and see if he would take on your case to put Shona Robison if you have a haematology unit and does not have a Clinical nurse specialist Mpn at put it to them would it not be better having one at the clinic than a registrar having to come down to the clinics who could be treating a patient whose mpn has manifested into fall blown cancer as they are trying to get the waiting times down for Cancer Thank you for helping Steven George
Try getting in touch with your local Msp to see if they will take up on your case and see if he can also bring it up with Shona Robison I am going e-mail mine as the response I got from her was a fob off asked how many cnsMnps got told to look up a website which does not give a productive answer I would like to see one in every haematology clinic saving a registrar coming down from a ward on clinic day when they can be caring for patients in hospital with advanced stages of an mpn
