I Am so relieved and thank God ....

Im pleased to say my abdomimal ultra scan was all normal . concern was i may have ovarian cancer ( my symptoms were very simalar ) but i dont think i could have coped with this as well ! still got to wait for bloods to come back but im not at all concerned now . So im putting my tum issues down to my ibs and possibly affects of the HU for me anyway thank you all for your support means alot best wishes Holly x

Good news Holly, was a rooting and tooting for you today. Could not have a better test done to determin if it is ovarian cancer. Like you I have always suffered with IBS plus diverdicular, that's where the symptoms get confused so good to get that test done puts your mind at rest.

Hi Jean yes thank you and i get all other organs checked too which is good ,will get blood results back soon im confident there match the scan . Then back to the matter in hand my mpn progress with getting them platelets lowered .. all the best oh sorry to hear you have diverticular my sister suffers and my sis inlaw can be very painful when flares up .take it easy all the best for a good 2017 Holly x

Great News Holly. Pleased to hear that. I had same scare a few years ago(2012) just about when I was diagnosed with ET. I was so relieved to find out it was just a benign cyst! I hope your tum issues get resolved or if it is the effects of the HU that it settles down. Liz x

Hi Pam sorry to hear your going through it a bit of late more so ,what with haveing your Dose of HU raised , its bound to have effects eh , hope it can be lowered for you soon , did your heam give you anti sickness pills ? my Gp gave me some because i get nausea , never been abke to be sick in my life odd i know!. so do hope your brick wall dissapears next year ( tomorrow be good ) but i will wish you a very happy and healthy ,new year and keep smiling you have your lovely carter to cheer you on like i have my Leah .. she is 6 they make you forgot everything when with them eh ,Holly. xx

Holly, that's fantastic news really. Now if you can relax about things maybe your symptoms won't be so bad - it's amazing what being stressed can do to our bodies. I have put on lots of weight whilst being on Rux so know what that means. Good news is always a booster so happy new year to you and your family.
