I am never too steady with both my arms, but the left is the most dramatic, I lift an object, ok for a couple of seconds and then it goes mad, shaking worse and worse? The object HAS to be put down at once!

Uncontrolable shaking in left arm?
Hi Adlon, my Mother has a condition called 'essential tremor,' she's had it all her adult life. She's 90 now and it hasn't caused her any problem other than being a nuisance. Notably, it is worse when performing any action.
I would recommend that you visit your GP and discuss your symptoms.

Interesting! My GP thought it was Parkinson's Disease, I was given a DAT scan, no Parkinson's, he never came up with any alternative? Although I have changed GP recently! 'essential tremor' , it is a nuisance, I tend to knock things over, taking the left arm for granted!
Good idea!

Is tremor associated with MPN? I was diagnosed with Parkinson's 2 years ago and PV one year ago.
My mother also had essential tremor it is hereditary and two of my sisters has it. I do not think it is associated with MPN or Parkinson disease.
