MPN Voice Patients’ Forum – Inverness

The forum will be held in The MacLean Room

Programme

The programme is yet to be finalized, but will include talks from haematologists, specialist nurses and patients and breakout groups for each MPN where patients can meet in smaller groups to discuss everyday challenges and swap tips and chat with other people who have the same MPN, there will also be a family and friends group, this gives your family and friends a chance to chat to others about how to help and support you and themselves.

Book to attend

To book to attend please email [e-mail] and include details of what MPN you have and also the name(s) of your guests and any special dietary requirements you or your guests have, i.e. gluten free, vegetarian. Please note that you are required to book to attend this forum as we need to know how many people are attending.

You are very welcome to bring family and friends with you, there is no fee to attend, a complimentary buffet lunch and hot and cold refreshments will be served during the forum.

Patient speaker - would you like to give a talk at this forum? Have you been on a drug trial, or had a bone marrow transplant, or would you like to share with others how you manage and cope with your MPN and the varying symptoms that can affect daily life? Hearing from other patients can be very encouraging so if you would like to share your story with others at the forum please email [e-mail] with details of your talk, please include a contact telephone number, a member of our team will contact you to discuss your talk.

Venue

Eden Court Theatre eden-court.co.uk/ is a 10 minute (approximate) walk from the train and bus stations and a 20 minute (approximate) drive from Inverness airport. There is a pay and display car park at the theatre. A map is available here...

Hi Maz hopefully I will be able to attend this forum but will be facing a partial knee replacement around that time so not sure of dates yet. Hopefully I should get dates confirmed at my appointment on 7 September. Kindest regards Aime xx😺😺
