Vasclitis lumbar punture

Neurologist wants me to have a lumbar punture to diagnose Vasclitis.Any information would be appreciated.

Hi there. I had 2 lumbar punctures many years ago and although uncomfortable they were bearable, they didn't give gas and air back then and i'm not sure if they do now, but I would say yes if they do, so it's easier to relax. Good luck, Mel x
