The next and last meeting for this year will take place on Wednesday 18th November, in The Maggie’s Centre, Gate 3, Nottingham City Hospital, Hucknall Road, Nottingham, NG5 1PH, from 6 – 8 pm. Everyone is welcome to come along to the meeting, you are also welcome to bring along your family and friends. There is no fee to attend the meeting, and you do not need to book to attend, just turn up, we would love to see you.
The speaker at the November meeting is Melissa Shaw, who is a research nurse at Nottingham City Hospital and will be talking to us about her role as a research nurse and the current and planned MPN trials.
This will be our last meeting for 2015, we have decided to cancel the December meeting as it is a bit too close to Christmas and we thought everyone will be busy, but the meetings will start again in January 2016, with the first meeting on Wednesday 20th January, we hope to see you at the meetings next year. If you have any ideas for topics for the meetings next year please let us know.
Angela and I would like to thank all of you who have been to the meetings throughout 2015, your support and enthusiasm for the group has been and still is amazing, we appreciate you all coming along. We have both thoroughly enjoyed attending the meetings, meeting with you and getting to know you and we hope that you have found them as equally enjoyable and informative.
