Well I'm doing the smiling!! Actually I am eating more healthily as I'm following the Slimming World eating plan, lost going on for 2 stone now!! Don't walk very far because of the arthritis, but I do swim 4 times a week. I put a lot of weight on when I first started on the hydroxy but on my way to a healthier body now - as for the healthier mind well that's another story!

It's supposed to be very hot during the next few days, but if we go to our caravan that usually puts an end to good weather, I seem to take my own black cloud with me. Anyway too much sun is bad for you!

I have heard a lot about healthy eating over the last few years. I was about 20 stone give or take the weight of a mini. I joined slimming world and lost about 6 stone. I started feeling better within a few weeks. I am of the opinion that this was not because of the weight loss (at that point about a stone) but down to the healthy eating. The only downside was that when grapes have been bottled and fermented they no longer count as your 5 a day that's a pity (please excuse joke)

All the best

Stan

Well done on the weight loss ,and congrats on the eating changes ,,you only achieve these results with a changed mind ..but iv found this more positive way of thinking helps me cope better with the P.V era..... I seem to have more. Get up and go !!! On that note. I went !!

Well my working on the "new me theory" eating healthier and managing about a 20 minute walk most days at lunch time - although yesterday the heat defeated me - of course this is helping me to be more smiley as I am seeing more people during the day and if you smile most will smile back.

your upbeat posts and pictures are a great help
