Peg Interferon - Anyone found bone structure changing?

Hi

The meds we are taking affect the bone.

Has anyone noticed any changes in their joints / bone structure?

I am on Pegylated Inteferon and I think I am noticing some changes but cannot be 100% sure.

The knuckle of my big toe seems to be a bit bigger not visually but I can feel the pressure in my shoes. Ofcourse it could be a bunion. But then the knuckle of my fore finger is a little sore. Visually it looks ok, but I noticed my golf club "banging" against it, something that has never happened before. Once again there could be a multitude of reasons such as arthritis.

However is it a coincidence that I have been in INF for for 2.5 months?

So wondering if anyone else has noticed any changes?

I have PV, just on anti histamines and venesection. I have differences in knuckle size and also other joint pain. Mine is put down to osteoarthritis, inflammation in tendons, muscles, etc. But I have wondered if it is down to PV but there are no known connections at present. Regards Aime
