Thank you. It is a good idea but my experience from just that company isn't very positive at all.I went to another optician for an eyetest ,30 minutes after having been to this one.Not the same result at all.I have had glasses from the place you refeer to but had to change as I didn't see very well in them...and that is the point...But this is naturally up to yourself where you go!
I've been going for 18 years and I've not had any problems, they always look after me and check behind my eyes after I had a blood clot in my brian and now with me having ET.
Always useful to get these tips. There are other criteria for free tests. I am very short-sighted with a prescription 10+ so get free eye test, but opticians let me pay for a few years. Also, if you use computers at work on a regular basis, your employer should pay. It's official - see hse.gov.uk/pubns/indg36.pdf. Many others are entitled to free tests on health and age grounds - see NHHS list at nhs.uk/chq/pages/895.aspx?C.... Cheers Chris.
